DESCRIPTION
This is an antique Star brand bass drum that measures 9 3/8" deep x 26" diameter. Unknown wood type, but it appears to be 2-ply construction with flat bearing edges, and at some point it had a lightly lacquered finish, most of which has flaked off over the years. The drum shows interior and exterior signs of water damage, including warpage and ply separation. All eight original lugs are present, but two of them are missing one backing screw each. Note the four additional holes near the Star logo that likely once held some type of mount. Also included is one matching wood hoop. The hoop is in similar condition to the drum in that is shows water damage, warpage, and ply separation. No other hardware, tension rods, claws, heads, etc. are available or included with this listing. A great project drum or decorative object for your practice space or studio!
