DESCRIPTION
This listing is for Kerry Livgren's 2003 model Gibson SG Standard Reissue guitar. Known worldwide for his ground-breaking composition and guitar performance with the band Kansas (and later with Proto-Kaw), Kerry still resides near Topeka, Kansas, and is a frequent customer at our store. He recently brought in this guitar - built for him by Gibson as a replica of the 1961 SG he used to record Carry on Wayward Son from the Leftoverture album - and asked if we might help him sell it. What an honor, and what a fantastic guitar!

As a used item, expect to find minor age-appropriate signs of handling and use including light scuffs and fingerprints (Kerry has owned and played this guitar for nearly 20 years), but this instrument is in fantastic overall condition, it has not been altered in any way, it is 100% fully functional, and it has recently been set up and re-strung. Includes original fitted hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity that Kerry himself created and signed.
