This listing is for Kerry Livgren's Studio Technologies Mic-PreEminence Microphone Preamplifier (serial number MPE-00515). Known worldwide for his ground-breaking composition and guitar performance with the band Kansas (and later with Proto-Kaw), Kerry still resides near Topeka, Kansas, and is a frequent customer at our store, Supersonic Music. He recently brought in this preamp - one that he's used in his home studio since the early 90s - and asked if we might help him sell it. We were happy to say yes!
As a used item, expect to find minor age-appropriate signs of handling and use including light scuffs and scratches, a few fingerprints, and a bit of dust here and there, but this preamp has always been used in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment, it's in fantastic overall condition, and it is 100% fully functional.
