DESCRIPTION
This 20-inch Zildjian A Ride cymbal - number 180 of only 200 available worldwide - was released by the Zildjian family from their private vault of historic and vintage cymbals to celebrate the company's 400-year anniversary. This cymbal was made at the U.S. Zildjian factory in Quincy, MA, during the mid-1940s. Note fingerprints and/or stick marks, some of which belonged to Armand Zildjian, the cymbal tester in the factory at the time. Additionally, some of the fingerprints belonged to Avedis Zildjian III who deliberately tucked these cymbals away in the family vault.
These vintage cymbals feature the original mounting hole on the bell. For your convenience, an adapter has been included so you can play this cymbal on a modern cymbal stand. Also included are a Certificate of Authenticity, an ultra-protective carrying case with "Zildjian 400 Years" logo, a pair of white Zildjian inspection gloves, and FREE shipping within the continental United States. Buyers outside the continental U.S. should contact us for a shipping quote prior to purchase.
Please note: Using our own cotton gloves, this cymbal was carefully opened for inspection, weighing, and photographs. It has not been otherwise handled, and we have never played nor displayed it. Any visible scuffs, marks, fingerprints, etc. are those that were already on the cymbal when we received it from Zildjian.
