Mark Murtha’s Christmas Party in Kansas City is the brainchild of Head East guitarist Mark Murtha and vocalist Lisa Murtha. It began as an idea for a Head East Christmas single release in 2023, and evolved into a whopping 23-track selection of traditional favorites and new originals performed by 40 musicians and vocalists from Kansas City and beyond.
Notable performers include Terry Ilous (XYZ, Great White), Pat Tomek (The Rainmakers), Oscar Polk (Kansas Music Hall of Fame inductee), Roger Boyd (Head East), Todd Pettygrove (Shooting Star), Chet Galloway (Shooting Star), Darren Walker (Head East), Greg Manahan (Head East), Eddy Jones (Head East), Tyson Leslie (Vixen), and many other familiar local artists.
