DESCRIPTION
This is a super clean, very gently used Pearl Masters Studio "Extra" BRX 12" x 14" (depth x diameter) mounted tom that recently came into our shop on trade. Likely manufactured in the early 2000s, this drum features a beautiful Vintage Sunburst gloss finish, 6-ply birch shells without reinforcement rings, Pearl SuperHoops, and OptiMount Suspension System. Badge number is 114742. Listing is for the tom only and does not include a tom arm or any other mounting hardware.

As a previously owned and played instrument, expect some minor age-appropriate signs of handling and use including very, very light surface scuffs (nothing at all notable or photo worthy), a few fingerprints, and a bit of dust here and there. Much of the chrome hardware also has light tarnish/corrosion (see closeup pics). Minor aesthetic wear aside, this drum is in excellent, fully functioning condition and appears to be all original (with the exception of the heads). The Vintage Sunburst finish is in superb shape, the interior is clean, the bearing edges are smooth, and this tom looks and sounds fantastic! Current heads are a lightly used Evans J1 Etched on the batter side and a used Remo clear Ambassador on the resonant side. Both heads have lots of life remaining.
