DESCRIPTION
This is a 1984 model Steinberger XL-2 (serial number 1846) that recently came into our shop on trade and is in very good overall condition. The strings and battery were recently replaced by its previous owner, and we swapped out the original EMG-SS bridge pickup (which had gone bad) with a brand-new EMG-HB. Expect typical age-appropriate signs of handling and use, including light surface scuffs and scratches, dust, fingerprints, and some moderate fret wear. Also note that there's a small finish crack at the end of the "headstock" and the fold-out leg rest is broken off. Other than these relatively minor blemishes, this bass is fully functional with super clean interior and electronics, it appears to have all of its original knobs, screws, and strap plate, and it includes its original Steinberger gig bag. We'll also throw in the removed/replaced original EMG-SS pickup for good measure!
