DESCRIPTION
This is a vintage 1966 model Ludwig 16x16" floor tom that recently came into our shop on trade. This drum is in very good, fully functional condition with clean bearing edges, a tight wrap seam, painted white interior with re-rings and a MAR 18 1966 date stamp, and a Keystone badge numbered 277034. Expect age-appropriate signs of handling and use including light surface scuffs and dings, Silver Sparkle wrap discoloration/yellowing/fading in spots, mild corrosion on some of the hardware, mismatched legs with replaced rubber feet, and a missing internal muffler. All of the lugs, backing screws, leg brackets, and hoops appear to be original, but several of the tension rods are not. The batter head is a new Aquarian coated Studio-X, and the reso head is a new Aquarian Classic Clear. Note also that there are three locations on the interior where someone has written the number 444-36-7268.
