GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This is a set of three LP Giovanni Hidalgo Palladium Series drums that includes an 11" quinto, 11-3/4" conga, and 12-1/2" tumba. The quinto and conga are brand-new drums, but they have been opened, displayed, and briefly demoed. The tumba is a very gently used, earlier generation Palladium that recently came into our shop on trade. All three drums feature North American Ash stave construction, chrome belly bands and hardware, curved rims (Comfort Curve II on the quinto and conga, Comfort Curve on the tumba) and a beautiful, deep, resonant tone. They are all in superb overall condition, they are 100% structurally sound, and they are fully functional.
QUINTO AND CONGA
As new "demo" items, the quinto and conga may exhibit some very minor signs of handling, including light dust and fingerprints. Both of these drums include their LP accessory pouches (see last photo), original hangtags, and original packaging.
TUMBA
As a gently used item, the tumba is an earlier version of the Palladium series (slightly different rim, tuning lug nuts, and a recently replaced head) and shows a bit more age-appropriate wear. Expect to find an ever-so-slightly age-altered finish (a bit darker/more yellow) and extremely light tarnish on some of the hardware. Also note that one of the tabs on the dual-hole stand mount was at some point bent upward, then bent back down into its original position, which caused some small crack marks in the chrome finish (see closeup photo). The tumba does not have its original LP accessory pouch, and it does not include any original packaging.
