DESCRIPTION
This is a mint condition Heritage STD II H-150 in Wine Red (serial number 12512574) that recently came into our shop on trade by its one-and-only original owner. Very recently purchased and only played a handful of times at home (no gigs, no rehearsals, never left the house), this guitar is in better condition than the majority of our display models, and except for a fingerprint here and there, could easily be mistaken for brand-new. It is 100% fully functional with no notable dings or scratches, it plays and sounds fantastic, and it even still has the protective plastic film covers on the back plates, truss rod cover, and pick guard. Crafted in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at the legendary 225 Parsons Street factory, the Standard II Collection H-150 upholds Heritage’s American-made legacy with meaningful refinements. This evolution of the original Standard Collection features premium tonewoods, enhanced details, and the unmistakable sustain and character that define the H-150.

The H-150 features a carved maple top with a genuine mahogany back, crafted with weight relief for enhanced playing comfort without sacrificing tonal richness. A new headstock veneer bearing the ‘Heritage’ logo elevates its aesthetic, while the comfortable ’60s neck profile offers a slim yet familiar grip for every player.

The tone of this guitar comes courtesy of the newly developed Heritage Custom Shop 225 Standard Humbuckers, designed and wound entirely in-house. Built with 42 AWG plain enamel wire for the neck position and 43 AWG poly wire for the bridge on Butyrate bobbins, paired with 2.5-inch roughcast Alnico 5 magnets, these pickups deliver a wide and expressive tonal range. Potted covers ensure feedback resistance at higher volumes, and modern series/parallel switching via push/pull tone pots provides bright single-coil-like clarity without the typical volume loss of coil-splitting.
