DESCRIPTION
This is a vintage TAMA Swingstar 11" deep x 12" diameter mounted tom that has been in our inventory for a while and is looking for a new home! Made in Japan in the late 1970s to early 1980s, this tom features a Misty Chrome wrapped finish, textured Zola Coat interior, chrome hardware, and badge number 110347. This is a vintage TAMA Swingstar 11" deep x 12" diameter mounted tom that has been in our inventory for a while and is looking for a new home! Made in Japan in the late 1970s to early 1980s, this tom features a Misty Chrome wrapped finish, textured Zola Coat interior, chrome hardware, and badge number 110347. - Bearing edges are in very good condition with no notable dings.
- Zola Coat sprayed interiors are very clean without any notable defects.
- Misty Chrome wrap is secure and the seam is tight. There are lots of light scuffs and scratches on its surface (the worst of which is shown in a closeup photo), but there is no discoloration.
- Chrome lugs and backing screws are all intact, functional, and appear to be original. The lugs are a bit dirty with some light haziness and corrosion in spots.
- Chrome hoops are in-round and in good shape. As with the lugs, they show some light haziness and corrosion in areas.
- Tension rods all match, but we are unsure if they are all original.
- Badge reads "Swingstar" and "Made in Japan." Badge number is 110347. The badge is snug and secure.
- Please note the that hex-shaped tom mounting bracket is missing and is no longer available.
- Current heads are a used Remo Clear Pinstripe on the batter side and a used Remo Clear Ambassador on the reso side.
