This cousin of the tambourine is the perfect size for developing hands, and playing couldn’t be simpler – just hold and play with the included beater or by hand. And with its low cost it is easy to include multiple frame drums in the classroom – also makes the perfect gift or stocking stuffer! This lightweight drum (.4 lbs) has a fantastic projection with a well-rounded sound for its size. It is sturdy, making it perfect for the most rigorous classroom use by children.
As with all SLAP brand drums, the tactile playing surface includes the innovative “how-to-play” graphics printed directly on the drumhead. These show where the hands or beater should strike to obtain a variety of sounds, making it effortless to create booming bass, crisp slaps, and singing open tones.
